Dear Bloggers,
Despite the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar we decided to cut our time there short in favour of Kipepeo beach south of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Lynn discovered this place on the net and it has proved to be a cracking destination. We used our tent!!!!!! Lynn has taken to this like a true pro, cathy also pretty good while I have taken to the tent just like a true city boy - dreadful. me back's gone! ;-) On a serious note I'm getting into it and really starting to enjoy the simple life. To walk out of the tent first thing n the morning and jump into the indian ocean is amazing!
After 7 nights in Kipepeo (no internet sorry folks), we now find ourselves back deep in the city of Dar es Salaam - what an eye opener. Anyway, only 1 night here as tomorrow morning we set off on a 28 hour! bus journey to kampala, uganda via nairobi, kenya. Sorry no photos yet available as computers found so far don't support usb. All yet to come. Hopefully we'll be back in touch during our uganda (gorilla) experience.
