For those who don't know already, our first week is going to be a relaxing chilled out affair on the island of Zanzibar (not the nightclub for all of the teesside crew! ;) It's supposed to be a pure paradise island so we just can't wait...check out the images and link http://www.cristalresort.net/. We decided to sort out the first weeks accomodation fully, so that we can take in the scale of the journey we are about to go on....and also get a bit of a tan so that it's not a case of 'spot the tourists!!' We plan to wing it all the way from there on :)
Lynn has today organised flights to take us from Tanzania straight to Zanzibar...she said the journey is supposed to be a bit hairy!!! A rickety old plane probably flown by a cowboy, but who cares. With 1 year off school/work to come, we'll be in dreamland!!!!

Zanibar looks totally amazing I'm so jealous! You'll definitley need your snorkals, and Tom don't leave your illuminous yellow trunks on the beach like you did last time when you were 11!

looks absolutely rubbish! why on earth would anyone want to go there? you're better off in Newcastle!
